Nsnu Von Collective Agreement

We are pleased that our members have accepted this agreement. We can now promote the positive changes that have been made at the negotiating table to improve the problems of working life and to enable health care workers to ensure quality care. The online vote was concluded last night on the agreement, which is retroactive to November 1, 2014 and expires on October 31, 2020. Nurses working for the Victorian Order of Nurses ratified an agreement reached on February 13 between Nova Scotia Nurses`Union and the employer. The union members who voted voted 90% in favour of ratifying the agreement. The employer will make retroactive payment and retirement allowance a priority. Other aspects of the new agreement will be gradually introduced over time. Details of these calendars will be released as soon as the information is finalized.
